However I'm trying to look on the positive side. At least it gives:

a) our US friends more time to beta test the device and the apps so it will be far more wonderful when it launches here ;)

b) and therefore Apple more time to release an incremental update to the OS software to address any niggles (e.g. the reported wifi issues)

c) App developers more time to release 1.0.1 of their iPad apps and really refine them. Plus a whole load more will have launched by then, potentially the start of the "second wave" which have been developed ater programmers have got their hands on a real iPad instead of just the emulator

d) Me more time to save up!

e) The £ to $ exchange rate more time to be less rubbish

Well, the UK store is down as well - so i'm hoping for international preorders and pricing :)

This is the best news ever. Dustin was annoying, only ever played two games and just repeated everything the other three guys said, so was totally pointless and added nothing to the podcast.
I have nothing against Dustin personally, but he should never have been on the podcast because of his complete inability to provide commentary on any game that isnt Halo or GOW.

Perhaps I'm missing something but where does the Euro come into this?
