Rumor: Incoming Kingdom Hearts announcement next week

Of course Nomura never sleeps.

Drawing those belts and zippers on every character takes a lot of time.

Five bucks says she either uses "like" roughly once per sentence, or is one of those pretentious hipsters who demands that everyone buy clothes made of organic cotton even if they can't afford it.

Damn, I was gonna say that.

Who knew: Publishers don't like being called child killers [update]

Mar 9th 2009 11:51AM (Joystiq)
Of course, the irony in all this is that chavs are more likely to have kids and raise them to be bad parents themselves, while folks like us who know what a parent should act like (due in large part to our favorite hobbies being scapegoated all the damned time) end up never having any, either because we don't want to burden the world or just can't land a girlfriend to save our lives.

I hear where you're coming from on the "government handout" part, though. Octomom here in the US (who has had a total of 14 kids via in-vitro fertilization for the sole purpose of getting more money from Uncle Sam) makes me ashamed of our welfare system.

tl;dr: the government pays for people to be irresponsible, while responsible people end up shouldering the burden and never being able to improve things. Makes me lose a little bit more hope in humanity every day.

Sensationalized 'Top Gun' report blames pro gaming for death of Brandon Crisp

This is not a tragedy. Call me cold-hearted or whatever, but this kid was clearly as much of a dumbass as his parents were for helping him run away. Not saying he deserved to die, but he and his parents made their own bed (metaphorically speaking), and his parents should be forced to lie in it instead of just getting away with it all by using a scapegoat.

All this whole mess has proved to me is that stupidity is not limited to the United States, no matter how much people on the internet try to argue otherwise.

Ubisoft cans World in Conflict's console release plans

Really isn't any reason to release this with Halo Wars out now. I love WiC, but there's just no way in hell it'd ever control as well as Ensemble got Halo Wars to on a console. The comparisons would inevitably be drawn, and the game's sales would suffer as a result.

But I will be downloading Soviet Assault on day one for my PC.

No love for Valkyrie Profile: Covenant of the Plume? Only DS release I'm looking forward to this month.
