FEAR 2 multiplayer isn't bad. I'm liking it more as time passes and can forgive all the usual problems that plague new online shooters: latency issues, weapon balance, grenade spamming, etc..

Anyone on the fence should give it look. The single-player is excellent and worth a replay. The multiplayer won't rock your world, but it's still fun.

With SF4 coming out February 09, they hardly priced this rehash competitively. The redrawn graphics do look slick and I can see how die-hard SF fans would be excited. I also feel the price point is taking those fans for a ride.

I have been a member for a couple of years and it is great. They host regular gaming nights for almost every day of the week for the most popular games. Their forums are also very vibrant and entertaining. Most everyone I've met on the site is a class act.

Well put, Stranger. It's not like I can't afford this $15 Arcade game. I have a job like everyone else and invested tons of money into my gaming. Braid seems like a very unique, fun game. It's just that there's nothing there that justifies the higher price. There are many other fun games available for the "standard" 800 points. Why is that? It feels arbitrary, but it's anything but. MS may very well be testing a new price point. That's entirely within their right. It's a free market and they'll charge as much as the market will bear.

For those who have bought the game already and are enjoying it despite having paid more, that's great. You've found value in your purchase and feel like you got a fair deal. I, like a lot of other gamers, are choosing to vote with our wallets.

I'm also going to have to shrug for the Halo 3 vs. CoD4 rivalry and put in my vote for UT3. Maybe if it had real SP campaign it would be viewed more favourably but the controls, graphics and level design are great.

It's so twitchy, you'd think more "kiddies" would be hopping onto this game. The UT franchise just isn't in style anymore.

These updates sound great, esp. the High Stakes mode and the quicker scoping in time. I agree with what's been said about the lag... RSV2 is usually a laggy mess. I prefer this game over COD4 but man, the lag kils it for me half the time.

The score can be nice to have but I love reading a well-written review.

There really is too much focus on the score or grade of a game these days. Like others have mentioned, if you're going to do a score-system, do something simple like a thumbs up or down. Even then it does little to explain the game because not everything is going to appeal to everyone. That's why you need a good review to provide clarification.

Nice retrospective. I really loved the arcade version when I was a kid and was disappointed none of the NES NGs followed the beat'em up design. In a way ,the modern games are a return to the style of the 1988 classic.

Finishing Ninja Gaiden 2 on the NES is one of my proudest gaming achievements. That game gave me fits...

I am hoping to get NG2 tomorrow. Never got past chapter 5 in NG1 so I'm hoping Achievements, bloodier battles and some regenerating health will keep me more motivated this time around.
