Yes I am aware how to download a demo. My point is MS provides great marketing for XBLA titles. How many people on this site are aware of Summer of Arcade? My guess is most of them. I'm pretty sure the same people have no idea, including myself have no idea which Indie titles were released this week.

I think the problem is Xbox does absolutely nothing to promote the Indie games so people have no idea what is even worth downloading a trial. I buy quite a few XBLA games but have only bought one indie title. I am sure there are great games but I never hear about them.

I was thinking about BF 1943 but not if the community is dead.

Of course this is about the license issues. Do you really thing its a coincidence Ea announces this days after the court refuses to throw the case out? Come on, the tournament is a month away when I'm sure Ea would have sold a lot of copies.

I remember playing Street Fighter II all summer long back in 1992 because my friend had a copy. My parents tried forever to find it but no luck. Then on Christmas day there it was and my brother and I played it all day long.
