Well it outsold the others for that week at 3-1(not a total, just individually for 360, DS and Wii) . So sure this is no dent in the overall sales but for that week yeah it was a winner.

Well I'd like to consider nobody bought a bundle but honestly way before the slim was officially announced the console prices dropped to the price of a slim at most stores including ASDA (which isn't where you'd buy consoles from usually).

I think I read somewhere the actual sales were around 40k-60kish which is believable really.

Think Playr had replaced gamertv and it's just a cycle really.

Hmm this replaced Playr. I normally watch them if I'm home just for a laugh. The previous one was narrated by Rufus Hound wheras this one is uhm looking a bit shabby to be honest.

this one of those games where you pretty much learn by dying :). Yeah you'll die lot everyone does in this game. Well most people I know anyways including myself ^^

I've been playing this game for quite a while now. While player kills happen they are quite rare to be fair. A lot of players do leave helpful messages and the community seems more interested in promoting the game rather than wanting people to just die etc.
The game is somewhat punishing as is. Also I am playing with an import copy and sure the communities will differ once it comes out in the US.
Also the message system is more helpful. Plus you'd mostly be playing as a corpse rather than alive thanks to the fact that it's a lot cheaper albeit harder to play as a corpse than to be alive esp at the start of the game.

I agree with that sentiment entirely. NOLF was funy. Hmm I remember those weird cat-bombs was it and the body disappearance sprays.
I think I had more fun with the second game than the first though (Got the first as it was bundled with a Riva TNT gfx card).

It's postponed until next week as per MM's website.
