I know this is going to sound bad but I am a full fledged camper. I play domination and I lock down a capture point. I build kill streaks in order to help myself and teammates capture other points. If I leave there is no guarantee my teammates will defend that point. Why would they give you defend points if you weren't supposed to monitor the point? Its crazy to me how much people get upset because I'm not run and gunning, as if that is the only strategy. I don't have fun that way just as I know some people don't have fun staying in one place and being patient.

Likewise on deathmatch if I can go 10 k 2 d by camping opposed to 15 k and 10 d by run and gunning, it makes sense for me to camp to help my team win the game.

I realize the importance of both groups. If everyone camped no one would get any kills and if everyone runs and guns it leaves points and flanks unprotected with few people getting deep into kill streaks plus it virtually eliminates traditional sniping (quick scoping is a travesty but that's another topic)

I'll end with this. If someone is camping, you know exactly where they are after one death and with basic knowledge of the maps you should know where they can't see you can easily dispatch them with some stealth.
