So the reason you're not buying is it is:

1) They want to eliminate cheaters.
2) They are making buying items (something that will always happen) more secure so there isn't the risk of account fraud.
3) You won't be able to dupe any more so now you're going to have to actually play.

I personally am happy they are doing this. Yea it sucks for people who don't have internet or their internet has gone down but it should at least eliminate all the hacking / duping bullshit from d2.

Well if they've used it 3 times in 2 months you should disregard all words and reading comprehension and just believe that.

Its been probably almost 6 years since the last time I pirated a game but when the pirated version is better than the retail version why would I pay monies?

If you're referring to their publishing Demons Souls then you obviously have no idea who actually makes the games you play.
