I've already completed all of the quests but I expect i'll be logging back on to do raids quite often. Also the new battle system is much less button-mashy. Also, repairs are now so convenient that it takes no longer than 2 minutes usually to find somebody to repair your stuff. All in all, an amazing update!

May 24th 2011 9:06AM (Joystiq)I like DenebSwift's idea of a freemium expansion. Or maybe just do what Anarchy Online did after a few years, have the original game free, and charge a NOT MASSIVE amount a month for the first expansion (shadowlands). The only problem is, once you have the expansion, it's probably impossible to go back to completely free, but having a switch to turn the expansion on and off would be great in more ways than one.
I mean, if you'd quit the game and wanted to log in to see if you still liked it, you could, and then if you did still like it you could turn on your expansions again. That's the idea that's got my vote.

Apr 23rd 2011 8:31AM (Joystiq)Also, colliding with the scenery is what happens when you're new to the game, you've gotta learn the track, the whole adrenaline rush comes from avoiding these obstacles in the track and the ones that are thrown at you. If it was smooth sailing what would be the point? Then you're just playing, I dunno, Ridge Racer?
