Well I just find it sad and pathetic. Sure it's offensive, and demeans women, anyone claiming it doesn't clearly needs a slap sideways in the head to re-educate them about sexism. Having played the recent games, I'd say Prince of Persia has the potential to easily be as big a franchise for Disney as Pirates is.

Of course, it depends on the script, director and star, but the potential is definitely there.
