Okay, time to set things straight. I work at Gamestop, and I will admit, some people might do this. However, this is based on what EMPLOYEES do, not what policy allows. The official policy is that if employees are going to check out a game, it's SUPPOSED to be used when they check out a game. So in this instance, it shouldn't be the company that gets the punishment, it should be the employee.
As for the gutted game policy, let me explain THAT as well. We're only supposed to gut games out in order to display the case to show that we have the game in stock. Although with this going on, I can understand how people can get pissed off about that (as well as be cautious).
And NOW I'm guessing I'm gonna get chewed out, because I'm defending something I took seriously.
