Its super fast! Good for looking at non-iPod formatted websites. Zooming is a little weird, but not the end of the world.
My favorite feature? You can start loading up one page, switch tabs and look at another site while the first one is still loading - awesome for sites which have slow servers or are on auto-refresh. Safari never did that and it was super annoying.

The issue here is that it seems like penguin is trying to get people interested in books by making them less like books... Let's hope that they don't forget people who liked books as they were. I can forsee a future where every flip of a page of catcher in the rye shows a clip of an adapted movie or some other crap
