I agree.. I would never go buy another console if the first one died, I would instead expect the company who made the console fix it..

I have a Sega Master System II that is 20years old and still works fine.. and all of my other consoles (all nintendo) have never had a problem with them and still work to this day..

But I also admit that it would be hard to not buy a replacement console if you have 10+ games and a couple controllers for it and if the company wouldn't fix the original for you..

I think the xbox360 will hurt launch sales of Microsoft's next console as people will be waiting to make sure they work first..

i've gotton this error.. the one red light and e74.. no biggie as it RROD right after the error..

even GH: Aerosmith could be downloadable content.. (yes i have the game). There is not much new content in the game except some characters, venues, songs and videos.. All of which could be easily downloaded for much cheaper than what you have to pay for a retail disc. Activision could still make the same amount of profit..

yeah but they are not limited to 1000 gamerscore.. they can easily add more achievments in for expansion packs / downloadable content like so many other games have.

plus some people are not gamerscore whores..

Why? Wouldn't it be much better to offer these songs as downloadable content.. Instead of making more guitar heros why don't activision support their current game world tour.

I don't understand all these spin off's.. Instead of making GH: aerosmith, metallica etc. why don't they just offer the songs as downloadable content aswell as offering the band as downloadable characters.. Makes more sense to me, that way your only using one disc. Activision would still make money this way.. And for the people who aren't connected to the net, they could still sell retail discs with the addon content on them.
