Nintendo tells developers not to share digital sales numbers

Jan 5th 2012 9:21PM (Joystiq)
The way Nintendo treats third party is nothing new. It's always been this way. They think third party should be thanking them for riding on the coat tails of their success.

It's their system and they can do what they like. It doesn't make them evil....just arrogant when there's viable alternatives and most developers don't want to deal with it. It's funny people bring up gabe cause portal kinda makes sense with a wiimote.....but hey why court developers when you can have a general fu attitude towards everyone else?

Logical and mobile don't go together. I spent over a thousand last year on retail games and 0 for my phone. Why buy when everything is free?

Apparently we felt Raam's shadow deserved another sucker punch?

It's cool you guys have an opinion, but we're agreeing to disagree. You don't need to keep going on about it like its your duty to let the world know one dlc was sub-par.

Gears of War 3: RAAM's Shadow DLC Review

@MyAbsolution

Not defending this review mind you, but with Skyrim you have a giant sandbox world where your use cases for testing are infinitely greater than a linear campaign with scripted events. It's a bad comparison

In terms of scope this game is huge. I can sympathize with the nerd rage people feel when it does break because the game is that immersive, but if you break it down this game (from my experience) is close to 98% bug free. That's pretty freakin good if you ask me. I don't see endless complaints over the glitches multiplayer games have with cheats that break their experience.
