DS Daily: Was EBA good enough to make you import Ouendan?

Apr 25th 2007 6:11PM (Joystiq Nintendo)
It was good enough for me to download Ouendan.

Deal of the Day: Zelda Wii on the cheap

Jan 2nd 2007 9:11PM (Joystiq Nintendo)
People who preordered their Wii at Target in Australia got a free book of vouchers, that gives up to $50 AUD off most of the launch games (that's around $35 USD).

The best deal of the lot was Marvel Ultimate Alliance for $29.95 (roughly $22-23 USD)

I'm gonna get it as soon as my local Target store gets it in stock.

Final Fantasy III in action

I gotta say the exact opposite to #3. I wanted this, but now I see the video... it just looks really boring, especially the battles.

Link gets some lovin' from Out magazine

Just wanted to say... there are way, WAY more gay gamers than people might realise. I'm proud to be one.

Ben Kingsley - sorry, Sir Ben Kingsley - is a complete ass

I disagree. Michael Gambon is a bitch.

Why did you buy a DS?

Jan 20th 2006 10:07PM (Joystiq Nintendo)
I originally bought it because I wanted a backlit screen to play my GBA games on. And I don't like the SP.

Then, I got interested in the DS games themselves...

DISAPPOINTED!

A slimmer DS at the expense of GBA playability?

Jan 15th 2006 8:34AM (Joystiq Nintendo)
I don't feel much like owning an SP, I've always disliked it. So, if DS dropped GBA support I'd have to get either a Micro or go back to my old GBA (which I still keep around to play GB/GBC games on)...

Problem is, I can't stand the old GBA for GBA games due to the horrible darkness of the screen. And if I got a Micro, I'd not be able to play my old GB/GBC games unless I kept my GBA around and, ack, now I'm juggling three handheld systems.

Keep the GBA slot in the new DS.

Zelda: Twilight Princess can play on Revolution controller

Dec 23rd 2005 8:00PM (Joystiq)
I confess myself... disappointed.

Well, kinda. I was just hoping that there'd be Zelda in the first half of 2006, and that'd be all well and good, best game ever and all that. And then we'd get Revolution in late 2006. I was hoping for them to be seperate experiences. I wanted to have my Zelda fill without the distraction of a new console.
