I just don't understand why these game companies make the customer wait so long for additional content. COD4 has been out for a year now, and we got 3 maps (1 of which is a remake of an old map), big deal! The game was ranked as the #1 online game on XBOX Live, and we get 1 measly DLC update. GTA IV has been out for a year too, and we've gotta wait another month for some DLC? How about releasing the stuff while the game is still popular and relevant. Not to say GTA is a bad game or anything. But it's obvious that the hype surrounding it is all but gone. I doubt this DLC will resurrect what it once was.
I've stopped taking game companies' promises to heart. They work a lot like politicians, all the promises in the world up front. But once you buy into it it's always the same excuses...

I agree... Just more of the same. What motivation could EA possible have for making a better Madden game? They have no competition, and it shows. Their 360 attempts so far have been mediocre at best, and whats to say this year's installment will be any better?
Everyone knows that competition is the driving force which motivates companies to make their products superior, and EA's tactics are proving that point beyond a doubt. Their lackluster football franchise is in no way innovating or breaking any boundaries, just the same thing year after year. Perhaps this year if they relied on the basics (Rules & Online Glitches) maybe we can at least have an enjoyable experience.

I'm down for a new GH, but if it's gonna come as soon as this fall then lets get these GHII downloads coming. I really thought that GH would be an excellent way to showcase XBL, with the ability to download new songs. But, unfortunately, like every other download or add-on they will probably be few & far between, and expensive.

Hey, here's an idea, maybe we could have Xbox 360 tournaments using 360 games. Im tired of all this Halo 2 crap, good game, but OLD, and played out. Perhaps we could get some next-gen action, GOW, or Call of Duty Perhaps? Dunno about anyone else, but I didn't go out & spend like $600 to play old Xbox games all the time.

Well, after playing in countless tournaments and winning millions or dollars in virtual money, I'd be grateful for $40. Better than the $0 you get any other time.
