Mar 22nd 2012 9:47AM (Joystiq)One thing that does scare me a little is that it looks like it has that same floaty control. Obviously, I haven't played it yet, but it worries me and I really hope not. The controls in LBP are awful and I hope they know what they're doing with a racing game.
I love Sackboy even though I really didn't care for the LBP games. I'm glad they are using him in more of a mascot role; he really should be the character to represent Sony. So damn likable, COME ON!

Mar 12th 2012 3:54PM (Joystiq)Riiiiiiight. No one will want a new console from Nintendo, MS, or Sony because everyone knows that only the best games come out on the iPad.
Mass Effect 3 shipped 3.5 million worldwide, 890,000 sold in NA, SWTOR still doing well
Mar 9th 2012 11:27AM (Joystiq)I'll never understand the midnight launch stuff. It seems so stupid to me. Why don't you just pick it up the next day? Stroll in whenever you see fit, grab your game and then off you go. Easy peasy.
I also don't understand the mentality of wanting a game at midnight during the week since I would just go to bed when I got home anyways. The people that go to these things stay up all night and day to try and actually finish the game in one sitting. Maybe I'm just old.

Mar 9th 2012 11:22AM (Joystiq)I know, right?! I have a Kinect, so I thought "what the hell" and I might as well try it out at least, but I'm loving it! I don't like speaking the dialogue or anything, but during combat it works amazingly well and actually enhances the game, to my surprise.
There's no need to break up the flow and pause it to bring up the 'wheel' to choose your next move. I love spouting out commands to my squad and yelling '"SHOTGUN!" and "RELOAD!" or what not. And yes, I do catch myself actually yelling it out during battle. What a great surprise and I hope other developers take advantage of it in the future. I'm really excited see how Ubi does with the next Recon game and Kinect.
Anyone with a Kinect should absolutely be giving it a shot.
