This is a ridiculous practice, I don't care if I am always on the internet. I should never be required to access the internet to play a single player game. I wouldn't be surprised if Ubisoft does this crap on purpose just to support pirating for whatever crazy reason they have.

Apr 5th 2011 7:23PM (Joystiq)Oh also, in a lot of cases, the developers know about the lag and slow downs in a game, but as long as the game is playable and the lag is bearable, then they will just leave it in the game. They may patch it later, or not. Lag and slow downs aren't usually at the top of the list to fix unless it becomes unbearable.
