@Uncontrol Not so unbelievable, when you consider the usual, soul destroying stuff that happens in the game industry. Crunch time is very stressful. They probably could have fixed the game entirely, given another week, but more likely they would have added even more bugs from being so goddamn mentally exhausted, and could possibly have lost several experienced people in the process.

You know the saying, it's easier to ask for forgiveness than permission. Or in this case, forgiveness than dealing with all the shit that is involved with delaying a game four months.

Some classic game design going on here. You can't have one without the other, that'd be like having ice-cream without setting it on fire at some point.

No wait, don't laugh. Hear me out.

Instead of crafting an item you don't even know there will be a market for, you purchase a stall, set your prices, then craft AFTER somebody makes an order. Furthermore, while resources are required, there is player skill involved in the actual making of the item (in most cases, a lot of the crafting games are unimplemented), and it's a GROUP effort, with your employees assisting in the crafting.

If I don't win this, I might not be able to get this game until it goes on sale. Damn my broke-ass self. :(
