Response to 61, 63: This article is not about gay gamers. It's about terms he dislikes. One term, was "gaymer". He probably has no care if you're a gay gamer or not. Quite simply put, he probably only has a real problem with the bloody term. Which I too find rather stupid. Stop trying to warp the articles target point.
"I'm shockfused that Joystiq ran his piece." and "What really knocks me out, though, is the fact that he complains about "Wii-Mote" and "Celda,""...
My question to you sir, is does Dennis have no right to state his opinion? It's clear it's simply his opinion based on the title of the article. Also, does joystiq have no right to link to that opinion, because perhaps they agree? Clearly you've all the right in the world to state yours... But your rant to make the article seem as though it's against people, rather than the terms, gives the impression that perhaps his opinion hit home with you somehow. So now you're "pissed". “Pissed” enough to try to make two websites look bad, because you don't like the stated opinion.
By the way, “these people” is a derogative word, not hateful, and is obviously referring to the people that want to rub "gaymer" in everyone's faces, and not the entire homosexual community. He's not so dense as to believe that every minority and homosexual is trying to rub their beliefs and such at everyone.
Last, I find it ironic you try to emphasize your point about grammar being an importance in having a reason to bitch about being called a homophobic monster, by mockingly making the word “Homonster-phobe”... then spit out “shockfused” in all seriousness.
