That is exactly what this is, yes. I did kind of like The Path, but then I bought this and Fatale during some Steam sale or other, and now I realize that Tale of Tales aren't really interested in fun gameplay, but rather in being pretentiously clever.

First, I'd say that waiting for a redesign this time is more valid than in the past because there are games that will use three more buttons than are on the base unit and the use of these buttons requires the purchase of an ugly add-on that needs batteries to keep it happy.

Second, I didn't wait for the DS lite the first time around, but I did wait until Dawn of Sorrow was released, which was a good 11 months after launch. Hell, a new Metroidvania may be all I need to give in this time, too.

Still waiting for the inevitable redesign. Super Mario 3D Land is literally the first non-remake game I've wanted to play on 3DS, and one game isn't enough.

You're wrong. It's not your "right" because you agreed to the Steam Subscriber Agreement every time you downloaded a game and that agreement states:

"Valve hereby grants, and you accept, a limited, terminable, non-exclusive license and right to use the Software for your personal use in accordance with this Agreement and the Subscription Terms. The Software is licensed, not sold. Your license confers no title or ownership in the Software."

The manga, and not really. The first game covered about 27 volumes and the second covered about 20, and there have only been 8 volumes since then.
