@FruitFcker

I wouldn't even say FFXI had "serious deficiencies". It just took too damn long to do anything. Amazing game if you had the time.

Final Fantasy XIV's XVIII different classes revealed

@Rabite

They are still there, just in different names. You didn't seem too broken up when FFXIII named them "Ravager" and "Medic" rather than Black Mage and White Mage.

FFXIV is going for its own style. It isn't just trying to be FFXI-2. If you really look into it, the system sounds amazing even if you're skeptical about MMOs.

Rumor: Final Fantasy XIII composer leaves Square Enix

I used to think this was bad news, I over reacted. But now I just see this as the industry adapting to change. I still hear my favorite composers on my favorite games. Plus maybe this means that musicians get paid more, never a bad thing.

Sony: PS3 beating Xbox 360 in per-title attach rate

Apr 15th 2009 6:07PM (Joystiq)
I love when people say Sony is desperate for any victory when Sony isn't the company pushing this study.

Besides, the greatest thing about this console race compared to past ones is that all 3 systems can make a legit claim to success. Last generation the PS2 just sort of dominated. It was very boring.

But anyway... I hate the console wars. It wastes a lot of time. People shouldn't align themselves with any business company. Quit thinking your "console" of choice's successes are your own. Just enjoy your video games.

Is your Xbox 360 an E74 victim?

BRoD, YRod, RRoD, E74, optical failures, disc drive failures...

Gaming seemed a whole lot simpler when you could just blow the dust out of the damn thing and have it play again.
