Sony to hold live streaming Vita reveal event on March 9
Mar 1st 2012 3:56PM (Joystiq)They have already announced that a CoD game will be released this fall. Even if you don't give two shits about it, you should be happy about it! Think of all the dudebros that will buy a Vita, just to play CoD on the go (especially if it shares gamesaves with the PS3 version). That helps grow the install base of Vitas, which leads to more and more devs devoting their precious time to it as a viable platform. We all win!
Unit 13 trailer shows us how to play
Mar 1st 2012 2:59PM (Joystiq)I don't have my Vita with me to verify, and it's been a few days since I last played it, but I could of sworn there was a way to crouch...
I agree with the need for snapping cover to cover. If a game is going to have a snap-to-cover feature, then you should be able to smoothly move to another. It wasn't a huge issue with the demo levels, but I could see it becoming one, in trickier ones later on.
As far as stealth, it could be that the demo level isn't one of their particular "stealth" levels. It would be nice if ALL levels could be played either stealthily, or straight-up guns blazing, but it seems that they are sort of semi-predetermining what flow each of their individual missions will have. With that said, I did get through a lot of the demo mission without firing a shot. Taking my time, learning patrol patterns, and snapping necks from behind seemed to work well.
