It's been cool ever since other manufacturers have been pushing the envelope and releasing hot new phones at a fast pace. Meanwhile, RIM decided to stick a 3.2" 480x320 screen on their flagship device.

Um...look at the size of that bezel man. Either it has a really small screen, or it's a gigantic phone.

I hope those buttons work for the music player while the screen is off. I hate the fact that we have to turn on the screen to skip songs in most modern smartphones/touchscreen mp3 players.

Now can we get some more cool games to take advantage of these specs?

Just like winmo 6, this device will be held back by the other non-touchscreen bb devices. App development will be stalled because of the split userbase. They need to go all in with touchscreen.

Did the manufacturers already have Froyo ready and were just waiting around to see who would release it first?

FF7 runs near flawlessly on my Nexus One with Froyo. The sound only becomes muddy at a few parts in the game so far.

Chrono Cross has some slight lag and choppy sound but still runs great.

Same with Parappa, runs great but sound can become choppy at times.

MGS just doesn't work after the title screen. :(
