Joystiq hands-on: EA Sports Active

May 9th 2009 12:51AM (Joystiq)
So spending money on some shoes for fitness is better then spending the same amount on a game that is also for fitness. Different people need different things. If this piece of software is one someone needs to get them motivated then it's what they need. There is a market for home fitness programs. Perhaps you have heard of Richard Simmons, or Tai-bo? I am very happy to have something like this. Some exercises, and a nice structured workout program that can be edited to suit your needs. This is not a gimmick. Wii Fit is the gimmick.

Peter Moore says EA Sports is 'under-performing' on the Wii

I think it's just that the guy is so full of himself. Like the EA sports titles are some sort of godsend to the Wii.

I'm not as bothed by the six short videos as I am that they all show the characther doing the same thing! If they do send out six videos, at least make a few of them show something different!

Maybe this is not a patent for a game, but a channel.

PETA joins protest against World at War's attack dogs

Mar 23rd 2009 10:17PM (Joystiq)
I really like what PeTA stands for. We all need to treat animals better in our daily doings. But they really need to learn to back the eff off some things. Christ almighty. Armies used attack dogs! Sorry about that being in history PeTA, I guess theres just not enough white-out to make it like it never happened.

How about, instead of protesting the game, using it as a tool to teach people about what is an unethical way to treat an animal. I'm really not sure Nintendogs can be considered a game that shows good treatment of animals. I could slap my nintendog around, and throw stuff at him to the point he started cowering in the corner every time something moved.

This organization really needs to get back on message, or it's going to end up just like GreenPeace.

What is everyones damn problem with this!? Nintendo CAN do more then one thing at a time you know. So they are developing an edutainment game. So freaking what! They are doing a number of other projects too. It's like getting upset at an ice cream shop for trying to sell more then 2 flavors of ice cream.
