Halo stats blown out by Bungie as studio moves on

Apr 2nd 2012 12:59PM (Joystiq)
235+ Milennia worth of in-game time? That's impressive. Now the question is whether in another 7 1/2 years will the stats from the new Halo games keep up with that. 343 has a lot to live up to.

Illuminating Penny Arcade's On the Rain-Slick Precipice of Darkness 3

I almost wish that they would go back and re-make the first two games this way. I wasn't a fan of the style, controls, or much of anything other than the story of those games at all. I understand why this probably won't happen, but I think I'd be more than willing to re-purchase the first two games if Zeboyd re-made them.

GOG re-relaunches with new indies and Grimrock pre-orders

I just looked, and it seems they've taken care of this. There are no more reviews on the page. There's still a "rating" at the top, with 24 reviews listed, but I'm guessing they didn't want to just delete the reviews that had already been made.

Hell, I reviewed Grimrock based on what I've seen of it, and I agree with this. I had wished there was a way for me to NOT put an actual "rating" on it while expressing my excitement on the game's page. I think the reality is their system was never really designed with pre-orders in mind. I'd like to see them take that into account and do something with it. Though, to be fair, I'll change my rating of the game if it sucks, and I'm sure others who posted on there will as well.

GOG re-relaunches with new indies and Grimrock pre-orders

You can. But for people who have shoddy connections and are trying to download a multi-GB game a download program is incredibly useful since it lets you continue where you had left off. GOG is all about options, really. You can download from the website or using their downloader. You can then take that game installer and burn it to a disc, back it up to an external, put it on a thumbdrive, put it on all 5 computers you own, etc. and basically get your game how you want it, where you want it.

Assassin's Creed 3: Rebuilding a series during the birth of a nation

@Ryuk
LOL, I will now call him Ezio Audacity the Refrigerator any time I play one of his games. Thank you for that.

Oh, don't mistake that as a complaint. I LOVE Arkham Asylum and Arkham City. Just found it amusing that it sounds to me like this new Assassin is going to move very similar to how Batman does in those games.

Okay, that first comment was made based on the first photo alone... Now that I've read the article... He pounces from enemy to enemy? He has a chain he shoots out, snags people with, and hangs them from trees? He stalks his prey low to the ground?

So... "I'm Batman?"

@vedichymn

That makes me pretty angry, too. I hate politicians that waste time and money on crap like this.
