Really, I don't understand why people think that people who complain about the vague wording are whiners. Sony offered us something as a way of saying sorry for their terrible security, but they weren't clear on the exact date of the promotion ending. Also, there's nothing wrong with waiting until the last day. If someone's internet went out that day, that's another story and it's that persons fault. But when Sony isn't clear on the time the offer ends, it's Sony's fault and no one elses.
It's cool how Kinect fails to be useful in terms of gaming, but is so helpful in terms of helping people improve everyday life. If only Microsoft would understand this and market Kinect towards everyone with a PC instead of just towards gamers.
