Ian, during a financial crisis (or any other market event), concerned investors will move their money into currencies that they believe will perform the best. The current market malaise has world investors very concerned, so one place they're moving their money is into Yen. Japan faced a similar credit crisis itself a decade ago, and has since become very conservative about debt. In theory, this means that the Japanese government is trustworthy from a credit perspective, and is likely to make good fiscal policy decisions. This increased demand for Yen has driven the price up, just as increased demand has recently driven the value of one of the world's other "safe" currencies: the US dollar.

"Old Time Rock and Roll" is a sloppy rock song with crap lyrics. It's no better than the pop trash they play on top 40 radio nowadays.

Seger, however, more than atoned for it with "Turn the Page" and "Night Moves". Both qualify as some of the best rock songs ever written.

Wasn't the original Advent Children the director's cut? It was a straight-to-DVD release; it's not like Squenix didn't have all of the time and capacity to make exactly the movie they wanted to make. The director didn't have to cut content for theatre running time, since it was never released in theatres (not counting the fan service events in Japan).

The best part is that if the US Dollar wasn't so weak they would have made even MORE money.

Bungie needs to remember that Microsoft made them rock stars. I know it sucks that they're under the thumb of "the man," but "the man" took them from a niche Mac game to the 800-pound gorilla that the rest of the industry takes its cues from. Suck it up, Bungie, and show some respect to the dude who brought you to the dance.
