It's not about being "Xbox people", if these hacks had been cracked on PS3 first they'd be guaranteed being used.

Compatibility my arse! They put the "DLC" on the disk so they could f**k the consumer, regardless of format. If it's on the disk, why can we not just use it now? Why can we not use everything on the disk we have bought and paid for?
Ooh yeah it's so convenient I don't have to download a big update to use these characters! You know what's even more convenient? Being able to use them on day one instead of having to wait several months and then being asked to pay quite a high price.

Capcom deliberately sabotaged their own game. Sabotaged. Their own. Game. And for what?

Don't get me wrong, people who hack to give themselves an unfair advantage deserve everything they get but on-disc DLC is unacceptable in every form.

@Scuffles Oh yeah they will be banned for having hacked Xboxes regardless, but I imagine the phone call to MS went something like this;

"What's that? People have hacked the game to access characters you've used to advertise the game on our rival format and you want us to ban them? Sure, we'll get right on that."

@masterpain22 If I was playing SFxT I would give each and every person I run into who unlocks the witheld characters positive feedback and a thank you note. I'd encourage people who are playing SFxT to do the same.

Heck, the first hacker would find a bunch of flowers on their doorstep courtesy of Interflora.

Fully on the side of the hackers here, Capcom have brought this upon themselves and what they did to instigate it is far, far worse.
The hacks are the lesser of two evils, and "understatement" doesn't even begin to describe it.

Hell, if I could get away with it I'd be tempted to do it myself, but that would require me buying SFxT and, well, hahaha no.

Remember people, without hacking the game just to get access to all the content on the disc you bought and paid for you can still do your bit buying Capcom products preowned so they won't make any money off your purchase.

But what's that? Then the evil corporations will take 100% of the money from that sale? Lesser of two evils.

Guess the money dried up.

If this is only 1% then that should be an indication something's wrong with the games rather than the gamers.
