Yeah, I'm not sure what the huge deal is about those specs. Not only are 8600GTS' cheap, they're not even all that powerful, so anything better than that should be able to run the game just fine.

Well, this is pretty sweet if some sort of system can be worked out to use Nintendo's N64 emulator. Emulators are notoriously hardware finicky, so anything developed by Nintendo (as they obviously know both the Wii and have more knowledge about the 64's architecture than anyone else) is going to be a ton better than anything the homebrew scene can port. An emulator capable of running N64 games on the Wii hardware with minimal slowdown is a very impressive feat.

At least she's trying to be informed about the issue. I don't agree with what she's trying to push but I figure the more that the legislature actually tries to know about the industry the better - even if its only starting through this sort of "witch hunt".

I'd like to think that there are a few intelligent people in Congress that could actually benefit from a few people in the industry taking the stand and giving a rational defense of their companies.

I don't think this one is a two cent hunk of plastic. There are clearly buttons on the back, which indicates some sort of circuitry and wiimote integration.

Perhaps stop and think before making unsubstantiated claims in your posts? Some of us like to get info BEFORE you start cluttering things up with your not-always-accurate "commentary."
