Totally agree with Kick-Ass. Some of the worst acting and writing I have ever. When your best performance is Nic Cage channeling Adam West, there's something wrong. The action scenes were fantastic, but I can't believe people sat through this without Fast Forward.

Also, Shutter Island was Scorcese's love letter to Hitchcock. The plot was overly Hitchcockian, and I recognized shots taken directly from Vertigo, North by Northwest and Rebecca. Even the score sounded like Bernard Herriman's classics. So my point is, it is not Scorcese's best movie, but it is probably one of my favorites.

Sam Raimi is perfect for a Stooges film. Farelly brothers...not so much.

Superman should be played by an American. Not being an American, I have found that Superman symbolizes what is good about the place.

I have always been bugged by the "Match Point" comeback comments. Match Point was a good film , but it was a simpler version of Crimes and Misdemeanors with pretty people and set in London.

Unbreakable is proof that not only is Manoj a competent director, but also has a unique visual style. Almost every shot in that movie is framed like a comic-book panel. The ones that aren't are a direct homage to Donner's Superman.

So, yeah, I wanted a sequel. But not now. Not like this

I doubt it can top the hilarious Bollywood remake, Bheja Fry. One of these days I'll hunt down the original.

By the way, if you want good formatted free books, try feedbooks.com. They basically take Gutenberg texts and format the awesomely. I recently downloaded Cory Doctrow's Little Brother from their and Rudy Rucker's Ware Tetralogy (both CC licensed digital books, BTW) and read them across both the desktop and iphone and it worked great!
