As long as you have at least 512 MB of RAM (preferably more), and a 7200 RPM drive, you'll have no problem running Tiger. Remember the 128 GB barrier on harddrives though!

Does the bar have to be in front of the person? That means trouble for the projector-owners, with all their components behind them. I don't wanna run wire 20 feet....

Macintosh SE FD/HD - 4 Megs of RAM (that was maxed out I might add...), 20 MB HD, with all the essentials like MacPaint, MacWrite, MacProject, MacDraw, etc.

Kind of a strange question, but how fast does it convert a 320 kbps MP3 to a 128 kbps AAC (measuring in how many times faster than "real time").

And of course, the battery life, but with a more "average" usage, something along the lines of- airport on, bluetooth off, half brightness on the screen, running a few simple(r) apps like iTunes, Safari, iChat, iPhoto etc.
