The original will always have a special place in my heart but the N64 version was the one I spent the absolutely most time playing along with Magical Melody.
I am amazingly excited for a new SimCity. But EA have burned me in the past with SimCity Societies so I'm wary. The fact that they're aiming for cloud support, online, resource trading, etc. sounds so much like what Cities XL was originally - and we all know how well THAT went.
@Yuutuu Games are still regulated by the ESRB and policies governing sale to minors are still in place. It's just not illegal. Much like how the sale of a Penthouse magazine to a 10 year old is regulated but not illegal. Parents are still expected to do their part by doing research on game content before purchasing a game for their kid, learning about the ESRB ratings and monitoring what their kids play. Exactly the same thing a good parent does with movies and other such media.
I remember when they first put their website up about all this. It's a really interesting system but the necklace is what is the problem. It really only lets 1 person use it so it's more something to show off at a party.
I look forward to seeing how they can make it work with a kinnect.

Jan 19th 2011 7:16AM (Joystiq)Here, here. I would drop a 20$ on an HD remake in a second. Heck, I'd even go up to 40$. I love QFG so much and still play them to this day.
....except 5. Five was just....it didn't feel at all like QFG, too much emphasis on "live" combat.
I'm still waiting for GOG to pick up the series so I can get a fresh copy without having to worry about my install disk and compatibility.
