I think this is actually something quite dangerous that we should all be strongly against. It sets a dangerous precedent that, if popular, will show that players will be willing to pay a subscription for 1/3 of a single player game with full multiplayer capability with what is effectively, a 60 day timed demo.
The danger is that other companies will see this, mimic it, and then it'll become the norm. And then they'll take way the "option" part, forcing us to pay subscriptions for all our games.
Is it a bit pessimistic, yes. But let's face it. If the companies see constant dollars from this new system, they WILL go for it in mass and try to do away with the options that don't get them as much money.
The first voice is Keith David. Voice of Goliath from Disney's Gargoyles, Spawn from the Spawn animated series, and David Anderson from the Mass Effect games.
Sorry to say, but the ones Blizzard have created far surpass those of that fansite by leaps and bounds. Blizz didn't just make new skins, they're new models.
I love 'em and think Blizzard is doing a good job at updating the models for the Druids. I, however, believe druid players should shut the hell up in whining about something Blizzard is giving them specifically and giving them options on. Seriously, half are whining that they're so bad when not realizing that they could just be getting one new model per faction and that's that. So what if it's tied to hair/skin colour? It makes logical sense.
I just can't wait until they get the next set revealed. The anticipation for the kittehs is going to be killer.
How about we just stop taking armor damage? Hey, it'll shut 'em up.
Seriously, if you can't afford your repair bill then something's seriously wrong. Gold is so easy to make now it's laughable. I mean, do I have to remind everyone that WoW originaly had it, AFTER RELEASE, that a spirit rez would actually destroy your gear 100%?!
My favourite item is my Hallowed Helm ( http://www.wowhead.com/?item=33292 ) which I got during the first halloween event. I even applied an enchant to it. It's just too evil looking to not use when not playing seriously.
