I hope the developers keep the same control scheme as re4 because it would work perfectly with the wiimote and nunchuck attachment. aim the gun (while holding one trigger and standing still) and swing the knife all with the wiimote.

Well I dont beleive this rumor... but the fact that Nintendo is not allowing vids or screenshots to come out of events like Konami's BBQ thing could be some evidence... but i doubt it.
