PadRacer lets you draw your own track, join two iPads together and steer with iPhones

Considering I was just playing a multiplayer game of Super Stickman Golf with my family last night, I think this would be pretty great. 2 iPads and 5 iPhones.

Also, what makes you think most web data isn't already compressed?

Do you really think that this company is going to charge significantly less than $10/mo? I sure don't.

But this isn't 2005 and there isn't an exorbitant overage fees on per-MB basis anymore. They charge $10 for an additional 1 GB.

Four tips for better iPhone battery life

See, that's the problem with getting an understanding here. There ARE apps like Skype that WILL kill your battery. It's easy to just assume all apps do that just because you have one app that ruins it for you.

But the vast majority will not do this, and killing them all is completely silly. I don't kill any apps ever, unless they lock-up, and I easily get a full day or more of battery life. I don't turn off WiFi or bluetooth either.

There isn't 40 apps listening. There's only one system service listening, and that's the APNS service. The other apps register with this single service.

So no, having more or fewer apps using push notifications shouldn't make any difference in battery life, because either that one service is running or it isn't. It doesn't matter what the number is past "1".

(Now if you are actually receiving lots of notifications, that's a different story. Of course receiving many messages uses more battery than just having many app notifications turned on)

Photographer creates amazing photo book with iPhone and Camera+

This blatant sexism has actually prevented from buying this app so far.

That's great that Lisa is an attractive woman, but she doesn't have to purposely wear revealing clothes just to sex up the app. That's totally unprofessional and really brings down my opinion of the whole operation Tap Tap Tap is running.

Your argument is fair except for the browser thing. Android's browser simply isn't as good. Notifications however, are WAY better.

Android does offer more in some areas but it also offers less in many areas as well.

The Android Market is DEFINITELY crap next to the App Store. There's no two way about it.
