Mar 15th 2006 3:23AM (Joystiq)So what you're saying is... I hope I got this right because I have been thinking this the whole time.
There could be another curve? In the sense that the graphics could have the ability to look like they are coming out of the screen? I am only basing this theory by the view of 2d converted to 3d. I am probably wrong, so please explain.

EverQuest II vs. WoW - one gamer's experience
Jan 24th 2006 5:31AM (Joystiq)Overall, both games are great. No one can deny that. Congrats to SOE and Blizzard btw on the success.
Although WoW may have many people, I am an addict for tradeskilling. Well, not an addict, but you get the idea. I like to make as much stuff as I can and always get a new expectation. Which is why I love being a carpenter and a provisioner in EQ2.
WoW does not exactly have the same idea, as it does not really have that great of a tradeskilling system.
Plus, I have not been playing many games lately, but it's always nice to get home from a long day and just take a break and start gathering items... And get a few rares here and there =D
Right now... I play GW here and there. But it loses it's touch once 20 is hit.

God dammit, Joystiq. Smarten up!
Free preview of Guild Wars: Factions
Jan 14th 2006 7:48PM (Joystiq)I sometimes enjoy running from place to place. Just gives the game a sense of reality. But I replace my problems with Guild Wars by remembering that it has no monthly fee.
