I SO hope these games make it to the USA. Come on BBC, bring us Doctor Who! I'm not into playing online so I'd love to get my hands on the Wii version.

Actually, Sega is merely the publisher of the game. The developer is Platinum Games, the same team that brought us the awesome Bayonetta. I have strong confidence that this game is going to kick some major @$$.

I'm expecting 8/10 and 9/10 for this title. If Platinum nails this one, I might place them on my shortlist of A-developers. My list is only comprised of Nintendo, Double Fine, and Capcom (Clover).

Absolutely NOT Tom Welling -- and I'm glad it won't be :-)

The Smallville story is an absolute atrocity to the Superman lore. And while I admire those SV fanboys who keep trying to pretend Welling has even a chance, there's no way the WB would be dumb enough to bring him in as Superman and burden the entire production crew with the baggage of the series.

Welling would mean the WB would have to bring in most of SV's other characters and that would make it downright disaster.

And finally, people here must have low acting expectations. Tom can't act. Practically everyone on that show out-acts him in every scene.

I know a lot of gamers snickered at this game when it first appeared. Probably in part because Sega's name was on it, and well, it featured yet another scantily dressed female lead character (i.e. Nightshade, Tenchu: Fatal Shadows, etc.).

But I figured this one would be different. After all, it's directed by Hideki Kamiya - who if you don't know was one of the core members of Clover 7. I think he was the director behind Okami, too, and well, that was a rather high-quality, AAA game, for those who still refuse to pay for and buy that game.

I'm totally getting this for the 360. I recall hearing that the 360 version is superior here due to the fact that the PS3 port was not handled by Platinum Games.

Sure, it's a Bay-like action movie with plenty of amazing CGI, 'suspenseful' tension, and acrobatic stunts -- but that's what I like to see in theaters.

I'm sold on this one -- Bruckheimer and Disney know how to make these films down to a science. And I'm sure Jerry's been watching "Transformers" and going, "Man, I can one-up this easy."

While us Americans won't have too much beef with Jake -- I have to think AT LEAST some people are going to be offended by him playing the "Prince of Persia."

Yay, because the gaming world needs yet another first-person shooter ...

If I can call this generation on thing, it's "predictable". In comparison, as of now, there is no doubt that the last gen of PS2/XBX/GCN was the golden age of gaming and creativity.

Good news -- though this may mean we'll see plenty of lips not moving right to dialog. A minor quip, sure, but this is the RPG king we're talking about here.

Eh, Apple could do it -- but the real question is why bother.
And I'm not convinced Apple would run EA any better than it is right now.

I thought Midway would get a nice kick in content/creativity when Summer Redstone and his Viacom friends swallowed it up.

...And look at what happened to Midway....yowza.

Then again, Apple might be thinking it wants to play with the content boys to marry it into iTunes and ensure it's competing with other downloadable gaming companies before it gets left out in the cold.

The takeover idea isn't "retarded;" I think initially it may sound off but actually controlling EA's properties would give Apple iTunes a major boost should downloadable games be the future.

REPRINT the game on the PS2.

Sure, Capcom is bringing it online, but this is also an opportunity to capitalize and profit on the many many many people who want to play this game but don't have the next-gen consoles. Given the game's (1) already localized, (2) ready to reprint, and (3) demand is there -- just give it the greatest hit treatment already.

Do that for the fans, Capcom!

Valkyria Chronicles will be ported to the 360 -- given the modest to poor reception of the title on the PS3, Sega almost assuredly needs to bring it to the 360 to recoup what is sure to be either low North America profits or losses.
