Pachter: EA, DICE and Respawn will impact future Call of Duty sales

The sun clearly doesn't go anywhere, it's the Earth that rotates and reveals the sun.
Therefore, your prediction is wrong.

You do know Pirate Bay itself isn't illegal right?

Realistically, we'd all be wiped out by these super-human races/aliens.

Roger Ebert's latest column posits 'games can never be art'

Apr 19th 2010 3:29AM (Joystiq)
@Lakail

"Ebert used Wikipedia's definition of art: the process or product of deliberately arranging elements in a way to affect the senses or emotions."

In that sense, my fecal matter is art. It affects your senses ('Smell' and 'Sight'. 'Touch' and 'Taste' if you want to go all out.) It affects your emotions. (Primarily 'Disgust') And it can be done deliberately to do so.

That covers it all right?

I view games and movies as more of 'containers' of art, rather than art itself. Using this view, of course there is the possibility of the container can become a piece of art from the master weaving of the contained. But those are few and far between; and for the sake of more opinions: Modern Art isn't Art.

Activision exec Thomas Tippl speaks out on current Infinity Ward conditions

'Catch Me If You Can' I guess (2002). Though, 'Schindler's List' is a great enough movie to make him awesome forever. And you know, the three Indiana Jones movies. THREE I TELL YOU.

Portal 2 coming to E3; Valve hosting event Monday, June 14

Valve works on OpenGL now so their games will work on the Mac. PS3 works on an "Embedded Systems" version of OpenGL. It's safe to say they'll most likely release their future games on the PS3 as well as it wouldn't be too difficult for an internal team to port/code it.

Also: LordPoncho. You're the guy that makes us PC gamers look like douches. I for one am glad our fellow gamers can enjoy Valve's great games. So long as I can enjoy it on my PC too, I'm happy.

Enormous Uncharted 2 artbook is a costly relic

Apr 17th 2010 4:17PM (Joystiq)
I love leather bound books. 300$ is really expensive, but this really is a work of art of a book. I was thinking about maybe adding this to my small library, sadly, it costs 100$ to ship to Canada, and that's enough to push me into the "you really don't need this" way of thinking. (As if the initial price wasn't enough to do that.)

What if the Modern Warfare 2 credits were edited to reflect vacated Infinity Ward positions?

Hey guys! I found another one that just read the title!
