@Decanus - Damnit! What has been see cannot be unseen.

New Castlevania: Lords of Shadow trailer is positively nuts

@The Nth Doctor - I believe Death is the one in the main image and I'd guess Dracula is hinted at the 0:50 mark.

Katamari Damacy creator Keita Takahashi leaves Namco

@InvaderDem - I'm gonna edit myself and say that he seems like a guy who floats about doing the various things he wants to do without restrictions. Once he's done making one thing, he goes on to do another thing that interests him. He's not tied down to one specific industry.

Katamari Damacy creator Keita Takahashi leaves Namco

Honestly, while I loved Katamari Damacy - I can't say my day is ruined from hearing this. Noby Noby Boy was a disappointment in my eyes even knowing what to expect going in. Plus, I kinda' think he's the video game equivalent to a one-hit wonder.

Don't get me wrong - I think the guy is incredibly creative and both Katamari and Noby Noby have a unique style, but he's never come across as a dedicated game developer/creator. He seems like the kinda' guy who floats about doing the various things that he wants to do.

This Wednesday: The epic battle of Plants vs. Zombies on XBLA ... plus 'Dance! It's Your Stage'

@ZombiTom - It's wasn't their call, they were told to remove it or they'd get sued. They were forced to remove it, which sucks.

PlayStation Plus updates now coming every other week

@Roto13 - When you download the game, they're yours until your subscription ends ... even after they're removed from the PSN+ service (to my knowledge). I think all that happens is that when you download the games, a expiration date [which is when your subscription runs out] is datestamped onto the game.

PlayStation Plus updates now coming every other week

You guys do realize that we're not losing out on anything - we're still getting what was promised to us, right? We were promised three free games, and various discounts. They're technically still giving it to us, just at different intervals.

Generally, the beginning of the month gives the three free games. Then, the weeks that follow were generally just a free avatar and a discounted DLC.

I wasn't originally expecting weekly updates. I was expecting a one-month update, so this doesn't irritate me at all.

"Hey guys, thanks for working on this successful game! Oh, by the way - you're fired."

Sorry, but that's just a crappy move.

PSA: PlayStation Plus launch details

@LegPhoenix - Unless they added it in the past 9 hours, it wasn't up there. I bought the service at 12:30 p.m. EST and there was no Fieldrunners.

PSA: PlayStation Plus launch details

Jun 29th 2010 9:06AM (Joystiq)
@Retrad - It's the same as any subscription service. You pay to use their services. It's the way it works with MMORPGs, your cable internet, etc. You stop paying, you lose the services. Pretty basic. Getting the PS+ is essentially like buying a MMORPG, you just have more variety.'

Although, any themes, avatars or discounted DLC you buy remains yours after your subscription runs out. Only the free games are tied to the subscription end date.
