Though "Murder of Crow" sounds like my kind of beverage. Maybe it's a licorice flavored drink... or maybe gives you the power to summon a murder of crows. Either way, I'll take it.

Jet Force Gemini pretty much epitomizes stereotypes about their games but I thought it was a fantastic game overall.

I'm not sure how well Killer Instinct II/Gold stands up in the age of Street Fighter IV, Marvel vs. Capcom 2 and Street Fighter II HD Remix on a single console... but it has its fans... not that I didn't play a ton of KI:Gold back in my day.

To be fair I think this is pretty much the most underwhelming TGS in memory.

I've picked up a couple things as Deals of the Week: Bionic Commando: Rearmed and recently Episode 2 of the Penny-Arcade game. It's just a deal to get people that maybe missed it the first time around or thought it was a bit pricey the first time around. Puzzle Quest is a good one... I already have it though... but I would certainly be amenable to a deal on Galactrix.

It's kind of a bummer seeing the whole month in advance and not seeing anything you want...

I got it for Christmas in 1992 without even asking for it... being the eldest child of my family and only 7 years old (to the day, my birthday is on Christmas) I never owned an NES and I was still satisfied with action figures of various sorts... in fact even knowing that I got video games I wasn't even interested until my dad set it up and I started playing Sonic the Hedgehog 2... and I've been a certifiable addict ever since.

Sega's since fallen from grace... no thanks to my request for the N64 in 1996 and my gift of the PS2 sometime later (I wanted a Dreamcast but my dad wanted to play Gran Turismo)... but I've purchased the Genesis era Sonic titles a bunch of times and they're still amazing to me... they've aged pretty well I think. I was too young to know about blast processing and color palettes... all I knew was fun, and Sega delivered.

... and they're publishing Bayonetta, the best thing they've done in a while to be honest.

Good strategy... a good legitimate strategy to encourage people to buy games new... and $15 for the content if you buy used... ouch... but should've done your homework.

I don't know why they don't understand that the ONLY reason that the PS1 and PS2 had/have 10 year life cycles is the fact that they had a giant market share... as opposed to less than half... if you don't include the Wii.

Both Microsoft and Nintendo will probably release new consoles before this alleged 10 year cycle and if Sony stands by the PS3 instead of releasing a new one as well they'll be left in the dust.

I'm just waiting for more episodes of The Bonus Round on Gametrailers.com. That's probably the best piece of "television" game journalism out there
