Manufacturing costs did not drop... the value of the Yen rose versus the US Dollar. May end up with the same result, but the latter (currency value) is much more volatile and could change at any moment whereas the former (man. costs) generally stay down when they go down. Also, *nobody* drops prices when man. costs drop... it's the law of "supply and demand", not "supply and costs". When demand goes down, so will prices. maybe. but certainly not before then.
