Angry Birds knocked from Top Free perch by Bubble Ball, made by an eighth grader

Yes, you are rich by owning an iPad. Even by Western standards such a device would be considered an "upper middle class" product. From a global standard, you would be considered very rich. In fact, if you earn $10,000 USD a year or more, you're in the top 8% of the richest people in the world.

The more you know.

Not 'appreciating' 3DS may be sign of vision disorders, eye doctors warn

I don't think 3D technology has matured enough or been around long enough for long term effects to really be studied. I mean, come one, adults develop eye problems from looking at 2D computer monitors- You don't think kids while still in their development stages won't suffer later on from staring at 3D screens?

@shadowhowl1900

I think a better yardstick would for companies to release the figures of how many unique ip's logged on to their network per day/week/month.

Sony claims more PS3's are hooked up to the internet than 360's, but only offer these nebulous numbers.

MS: 24 million = profitable

Sony: 60 million = not profitable

Joystiq Top 10 of 2010: Split/Second

I picked up Blur over this. The exclusion of 4 player split screen was inexcusable for me.

Joystiq Top 10 of 2010: Limbo

Meh. I realize this game has garnered lots of praise, I just don't understand why. I was bored stiff with the demo and it felt like a cheap flash based game. To each his own though.

Amazon offers buy one, get one half-off on 600 games

Weird, I picked up AC Brotherhood and Fable 3 for a grand total of $70 BEFORE this sale on Amazon...

Zuma Blitz now launching multicolored marbles at Facebook

I played this once on an international flight to SE Asia. I don't play these types of games, but I remember being hooked for hours on that flight. Haven't played it since, but this may be the first time I'm half tempted to try a facebook game...
