I don't recall harvesting baby demons in God of War.

I really loved this game. I refused to lend it to friends and tried to convince them to buy it. One did. The rest will probably never even bother renting it. Really good original IP, and nobody cares. Great journey. Amazing story. People are morons.

I did pick up Enslaved. I loved the demo. Also, I took the $25 Amazon deal. I'm really glad I did. Enslaved is more than worth full price. I've tried to encourage friends to buy it rather than borrow it because it was such a great experience.

One thing I don't usually like (or thought I didn't) is when a game plays like a movie. Enslaved feels so much like a movie, that, when my wife brought it up the other day, I said, "Yeah. That was a really good movie." The voice acting was great, the character design was great, the writing was amazing, and the environments were awesome. Also, this game is original. There are no numbers appended to it. That said, please go buy it so they make a sequel!

The MIT guys managed to track individual fingers with Kinect. Looks like they're still at stick figures.

I played the original before they decided to revamp it--and, other than some cool ship customization features, it kind of sucked. Maybe that's what's causing the delays. Not all their fault if there's a shit-ton of work to do to make it enjoyable.
