Mass Effect is another Sci-Fi shooter with a single coat of RPG, but it is not a Japanese-like RPG. The only two "truly" Japanese oriented RPGs right now are Enchanted Arms and Ninety Nine Nights and they both are mediocre. The only two "must have" (and that's questionable) Japanese oriented games are Lost Odyssey and Blue Dragon. I haven't seen Ninja Gaiden 2 announced yet for 360, nor a decent RPG made by Square, Enix, Konami or Capcom. As you said Cage, a good console has variety, and 360 doesn't have it.

Suicide Ninja, the "poor quality Sony hardware" is getting old and it's very rare anyway... you know why you haven't seen me online on Xbox LIVE lately? It's because of "poor quality Microsoft hardware". Nearly every 360 owner I personally know has seen its glitches, but whatever... I'm waiting for it to get repaired... AGAIN.

LOL to all the morons responded to aZn_1080p, well done. Most fascinating is that aZn_1080p is right in what he is saying, regardless if he has or not a 1080p TV. Xbox 360 is not "cheaper", you still need a bunch of accessories to level it up in order to play games the way they are meant to be played (WiFi is necessary in most broadband enabled homes; you need to pay LIVE to play online, not on PS3)... and even when upgrading it, it still ends up being crippled. That's not to mention all the free extras you get with PS3, let alone more japanese games and better backwards compatibility.

What's important is having variety. Xbox 1.5 won't reach mass audiences if it doesn't have variety.

Uh, it's nice to know that these 4 were launch titles. But hey, at least you can sleep knowing that Oblivion and GRAW are so original, that they don't have a first person perspective just like every Xbox 1 game, and Saint's Row is in no way similar to GTA (and it's a lot better, by the way!).

Alright, I'll give you Dead Rising... but guess what? It's a japanese game, made by freaking "CRAPCOM", a japanese game company, and it sucks, just like every other japanese game! Seriously though, the only game for Xbox 360 that is worth the 60 bucks, and the second game worth owning after Gears of War this year (right?), another non-shooter so much needed in Japan to make Xbox 360 successful.

I'm tired of this overreaction, when Europe was expected to get a PS3 in 2007 since 2005. Not even Wii will have a solid enough library compared to what PS2 will have when all "next-gen" (I'm using the term lightly here) consoles are out. Just to recap

Let's recap:

1080p: Check (Resistance will support it from launch)

Games that need Blu-ray Storage: Check, Resistance will do it on day one; plus, Kojima and Square already said that FFXIII and MGS4 would be impossible without Blu-ray. That and games that will soon be demoed at TGS, let alone developer's wanting to develop with Blu-ray.

To be pissed about not having literally 4D is retarded, but you had 4D games since PS2 and XBox, at least on MMOs.

Downgrade? What downgrade? It still has the key features. I don't think anybody needed it to be an internet server, let alone two HDMI connections. For 1080p gaming in two screens (unlikely to happen) you wouldn't need HDMI anyway.

A price downgrade? Are you fucking kidding me? You are getting *included* with the 600 bucks package, PlayStation LIVE (well, the equivalent or Xbox LIVE) and a Wireless Adaptor (needed in the era where wireless is the future; I mean, the present, I don't know anyone that has broadband without a wireless connection anyway).

Everything I just mentioned, costs extra with Xbox 360 till you reach the PS3 price (with 2 years of LIVE). But guess what? You're also getting a next-gen drive for the same price as a 360 with *needed* accessories, you're getting games with a lot more content, let alone games that can fully take advantage of a hard drive, and you're also getting even more years of online service.

Still not satisfied? You also get Backwards compatibility with the best gaming lineup of the last 10 years. Oh, and that's not counting triple the size of the hard drive, memory stick capability, HDMI 1.3 output, and 1080p capabilities.

Don't give me that crap about how everything is "optional" with 360, when it is not. The more "options" you give your machine, the more crippled it becomes, therefore forcing consumers to get a crippled product.

By not forcing HD-DVD (or Blu-ray, whatever) outside the box, they forced consumers in getting games that are limited in some way or another.

By not forcing the hard drive out of the box, they forced the developers not to use the hard drive (or to use it at their own risk), and forcing consumers to get games that are crippled by not using the hard drive (or if they do, why offer a crippled 360 in the first place?).

They are forcing the industry to grow at a slower pace to online gaming since they are not offering WiFi out of the box (and that's where Sony erred too, as opposed to Nintendo), and they are charging for a fee; the "option" is not there as you have to pay, on the other hand, you have the option with PS3 and Wii since you don't even have to pay to play in the first place.

There is not an option to use HDMI and/or 1080p output even when the machine is perfectly capable to have both (well, relatively).

Where is the option to upgrade the hard drive?

Where is the option to use non-360 hard drives just like there is for PS3 and Wii?

Where is the option to NOT buy a media center (or Windows Vista) in order to use Xbox 360 for watching videos on my computer or on a disc I burned?

PS3 may be facing a lot of difficulties, and it might have lost many battles by now, but don't get your hopes up, Xboxers... if Nintendo gets their shit together (i.e. cleans their image of "kiddy"), they are set to be the owners of this generation, not Microsoft. If not, say hello to a videogame market owned "Windows LIVE Xbox" from now on.

Well, Xbox 360 is going after the PS2 (having plenty of games), but unfortunately for Kutaragi, PS3 is going for Xbox 1 (having plenty of power), which is worse :( but I do consider PS3 the only truly next-gen console (sorry, fanboys). Well, not the only, but the most next-gen of all three... it needs more Wii-like controls to be perfect, or near perfect.

Anyway, anyone that simply "gives up" on waiting a few more months is a moron for having waited this much in the first place. I mean, these guys complaining must be retards... do they not have a console at home right now to be playing? A PS2, a cube, or an Xbox? Anything? I mean, Okami just came out, Yakuza is coming out, Mortal Kombat Armageddon is coming out, God Hand is coming out, FFXII is coming out, and God of War 2 is coming out. All in a span of *less* than 6 months from now.

Maybe they don't have a current-gen console, but is that the reason why they were so desperate, despite not gaming in the current-gen? So, they've been waiting a year and a half for this console to say "hey, I can't wait 3 more months, I'll get whatever is out in the market right now because I'm just a compulsive consumer like that". That's just sad.

Anyway, it (PS3) won't have better graphics. It won't because that's future tense, as if we had no tangible proof of that, only theory. It *has* would be correct to say, as was already seen that the same Tennis game, running on a dev kit for PS3, and running on Xbox 360, looks a lot better for PS3 (both real-time). So, it's not that "it will" as if we haven't seen already, it has, because we've seen it in action.

Furthermore a lot of cross-platform games have been confirmed to have extra content on PS3. Also, Xbox 360 is not cheaper as everyone would like to think (nor is it "optional" as everyone wants to think). 1080p "horrible frame rates"? Well, it seems that resistance has been locked already @ 30 Frames/second, 1080p, and that's a launch title; developers don't have a lot of experience yet with PS3 development... think what'll happen 6 years down the road, pal.

Anyway, saying that sony has already lost can only mean your brain is as functional as that of a junky.

Read me, don't RUSH out to buy a 360 just because PS3 was delayed! 360 is a piece of shit, I have one and I had never been unsatisfied with a console until I got it. It doesn't work well, and the only must have game for before 2007 will be Gears of War. Oh, and when it comes out, PS3 will cheaper or equal in price if you include the costs of Xbox LIVE, let alone the fact that you are getting more with PS3.

Buy a Wii. Not "Wii60", just Wii. Or Hell, WiiS2.

And by the way, if you have a PS2, there are still plenty of awesome games coming for PS2 if you don't want a new console. Okami just came out, Yakuza is coming soon, Mortal Kombat Armageddon comes out in October, FFXII comes out in november, God hand comes out really soon too (before 2007), and God of War 2 is coming out early 2007 (before PS3 comes out in Europe).
