I will say though, having the empty cases out on display and pulling the games from behind the counter is done for Loss Prevention's sake. However, if someone is going to check out a game with save files on the game itself, have the common sense to erase the file before you return the game. That's the simple solution - not being a moron and using common sense. And for the record, any GS employee that comes on here will be fighting an uphill battle. Though, for the record, the guys at my closest GS are great.
Drago - you are saying Gamestop doesn't do these things, but then when people say they do you are saying things like 'eh, I hate when they do that' etc. Therefore, you are wrong. Get over it. This is something that Gamestop does. You saying they don't when a number of people experienced it does not make it not exist.
Yeah, one time I bought NYT Crosswords for DS, and I thought it was odd that there was a file with my name on it. So I took it back, explaining I wanted a refund of the difference in price (like 4 bucks) and the guy flat out refused. I then said I just want to refund it and he made a huge stink about it, and didn't want to give me my receipt (I'm one of those people that saves all my receipts). So I went to the GS I usually go to after that, and they all said that this specific employee is the hugest dick, and nobody likes him specifically for that reason. When I heard about this policy, I crapped myself. This is why I preorder games I want new, and buy anything else used. Gotta take advantage of my discount there.
