The one thing that kind of bugs me about subtitles is that you have to focus on reading it if you can't understand what is being said. You can miss out on some pretty cool visual sequences if you are looking at the bottom of the screen reading about what is going on.
(and don't get me wrong, I believe reading is good)

cheesy voice acting or not, i would rather understand and be visually amazed, that's just me.

I hope that in the underwater level you have to fight a whale boss with a torpedo, that would be so sick.

This is exactly what I was thinking. There is really nothing to be disappointed about. Bioshock is truely an amazing single player game, multiplayer is just a little extra incentive. I'm just happy that they are not making people pay for it a couple months after the game comes out (like this one other popular game).

I think this game is going to be as good as the first, I'm playing it once more to refreash myself on the story, and i really can't see 2k Marin messing it up. The idea of big sisters is very interesting. The one thing i really can't understand is how so many people leaving comments can place so much judgement based on a couple minute trailer. If you didn't enjoy the first game then more than likely you wouldn't like this one either. I love bioshock and i'm sure i will love this game too.
