Rumor: Marvel vs. Capcom 3 roster to include Mega Man, Frank West, and more

@Evil Hayato

For the record, TvC used the correct logos for Zero, Roll, and Volnutt (the Mega Man X, Classic, and Legends logos, respectively). I don't see any reason for Capcom to do it any different here.

@Evil Hayato

If it's the picture you're talking about... It was debunked the moment the picture mentioned that Spider-Woman was from the Spider-Man series. In which she's not. Not to mention Tron Bonne and Zero having the Classic Mega Man logo, which is just wrong in every way...

Oh, and Kensk (the REAL one at NeoGAF, the one that leaked the entire SSFIV roster and accurately described everything about Hakan) has long since debunked the validity of the leaked picture.

(I wouldn't ask Kensk about leaking anything for MvC3. A while ago, he expressed an intent to not leak anything about MvC3 this time around, as apparently the SSFIV leak got a number of people fired. I think it's nice that he can still shoot down fake leaked lists, though.)

As much as I want Megaman/Rockman.EXE in this game...

You too, Joystiq? I thought this site was above mentioning leaked lists, especially considering how the MvC3 community has been plauged by countless leaked lists since launch.

Besides, I think I've seen this list last week. Some moron posing as Kensk over at the Capcom-Unity forum posted a list similar to this. In fact, I think the only change I can think of is that this time, Classic is mentioned instead of just Rockman.EXE.

Calling it now, the grass snake starter evolves into a Grass/Flying or Grass/Rock type with a design inspired by Quetzalcoatl.

What the hell do you expect from 10 year-olds? I mean, sure, the female protagonist this time around is older, but she can't be THAT much older.

So you're saying the originals weren't cute?

'Mega Man Online' confirmed for PC

It looks like you guys haven't got the memo yet. And you guys also call yourselves fans... *ducks under buster shots*

Anyways, assuming this picture is real, this is going to use the Rockman X universe.

Would have preferred EXE instead, but it's still interesting to see how they try to pull this off. Pretty ironic that X might be getting one before the series that focuses on the freaking internet.

Pokemon Black & White media evolves into video on Pokemon Sunday

@Katana Master: You got the original three starters in Yellow from the same people that Ash got them from in the anime.

Bulbasaur: Girl taking care of plant Pokemon in Ceruelean City decides she can trust you with Bulbasaur after you rescue Bill.
Charmander: (Idiot) Punk in the route above Ceruelean City complains that Charmander is weak, and was immediately willing to give Charmander to you for free.
Squirtle: Officer Jenny in Vermillion City decides that you can take care of a particularly troublesome Squirtle.

Oh god, so much game and anime nostalgia. Firefighting Squirtle Squad (complete with shades and attitude to match!) was awesome.

Seriously, after you get all three of them (and possibly Snorlax and Lapras later on), you were pretty much set for the rest of the game.

Readers pick best webcomic: Hell

For the record, I haven't even heard of, much less take a serious look at xkcd until last week.

- "Because I have a good sense of humor?"

Er...

Good sense of humor? That argument never helps people who don't follow up with things that they actually do like.

At least this guy's jokes tend to be somewhat original AND straightforward.

- "Because I don't break out into laughter every time I see an equation?"

*looks through the most recent 30 comics in the archives and sees only 3 or 4 comics that could qualify as an equation joke*

Huh?

- "Because I'm not a creepy nerd who always writes webcomics about women who will never love me and yet who I'm obsessed about?"

*looks through the archives for the latest 30 comics again and finds nothing about women that will never love the author*

...Methinks you're only hating this for the sake of hating at this point.

Capcom bringing Mega Man Battle Network remake to DS

Okie, I know I'm about a month and a half late on this...

...But hey, [censored] you, Joystik. I mean, seriously, it's pretty damned obvious that whoever wrote this article is incredibly biased against this series (and has a very high chance of being one of those fan dumb 'true Megaman fans' of some sort of crap) and has done little to no research on this game (and if whoever wrote this article did, he certainly failed to include everything else that makes it newsworthy within the article - then again, whoever wrote this is most likely one of those 'true fan' fantards.

This kind of unprofessional bias snarky crap is the reason why nobody takes sites such as IGN seriously anymore. Now I truly understand why Kotaku is considered to be far superior to Joystik (and not to mention why NeoGAF also currently bans all mentions of Joystick on their forum).
