To digress from this topic, it's disconcerting and refreshing at the same time at how polite you are.
Just not used to that on the net...
Back to the topic. I have a first-gen 60gb...still running fine (but the fan does go crazy when I play The Show 09 on occasion) even with the update. Crossing my fingers that my system doesn't brick on me.
Push come to shove, if it did, I don't think I'd bother plunking down $150 to repair it. I envision me traveling to my local Best Buy and feeling like the ultimate chump when I have $300 sucked from my account via debit card for the Slim....sucker.
Zombie Apocalypse....I'll probably delve into it tonight...whomever is up for a 'functional' teammate who actually likes use a dash of strategy and help out others....add me on PSN: kensharp (so clever, I know)
Definitely not interested in inciting a flame war between BF:BC2 and MW2 aficionados. But Bad Company 2 does look a bit more polished than Modern Warfare 2.
With that being the case; I'll still be picking both titles up............
This game looks promising, still on the fence about it though. I just bought Shift, but after playing it for a few hours, I'll probably sell it due to it 'feeling' too much like GT5 Prologue. And the cockpit view just didn't do it for me.
Looks like GT5 will have a clear path to my racing heart....
I'm an absolute sucker for zombie games/movies (curse the heavens for L4D exclusivity!). So....I'll most certainly be purchasing this AND Dead Nation, while trying to squeeze in some more game time for Burn Zombie Burn....
And of course I'll be catching Zombieland at a theater near me...
I love the game, and still log on to PSN to play against a few opponents every week I definitely feel like the 60 (plus tax) that I shelled out for the game was well spent.
Sony: PS3 disc drive errors not a firmware issue
