Its quiet possible, microsoft are blending in next-gen with affordibility. I found the core system, a haven for budget gamers who just want play games casually. I think wii is good, but it lack of technical power has kinda put me off. I just find it pointless to buy a console, that doesnt add more then a generation of games I already played. I find PS3 good, but its too expensive especially since I'm paying for stuff, I dont even want.

$1000, I think people are better off with PS3, of course I dont think its fair to compare a dedicate player but it does basic stuff like play movie with dolby.
