Something that I wasn't aware of till my Druid hit 68 was that when we train flight form, we automatically get the 225 riding skill. That just saved me several hundred gold right there.
I'm surprised more people from other classes aren't complaining about this. Every time I've told someone in game about this, it's met with a /r "I hate you."
I will go with hunters and rogues, although I can't hate on rogues too much...stunlocking and ambushing are the purpose of the class.
As someone who's suffered through playing a druid since launch, it's great to finally see all the love. I've been every preist's best friend after I've run an instance with them. Battle rez, crit-heals for all, innervate, tanq-heal the entire party for 4-5K+, pop out of cat and into bear if the tank can't pull the aggro off the clothies (not always the tanks fault)...our versatility has been truely realized as of late.
There are still warriors complaining we are better tanks, even after the nerf? Sure, bear form does make a great tank, but a warrior that knows what they are doing will always out-tank us. The warriors I still see complaining are the ones that don't stack sunders and think that effective tanking is sitting there and beating on one mob until it's dead.
@#19 The druids doing the instant heals are not the same druids doing massive damamge. The spell that makes the next spell instant is 21 points into the Resto tree. This means you aren't left with enough points to get the really DPS-heavy feral talents.
I just respeced from resto to feral and while I do awesome damage, my healing utility is greatly, greatly reduced. If a druid is doing isntant heals or several big heals in a short span without running out of mana, he's relenquished a lot of DPS he could otherwise have. Feral druids are viable spec now, don't hate.
@5: thanks for the info. One more question: if you get an armored Nether Drake, can you only use it while you are the top team for the next 3 months or is it a permanent reward?
Ok, can someone in the beta explain the difference between the Nether Drakes and the normal/epic flying mounts? Are the Drakes a temporary mount or a special loot/quest mount?
For PVE leveling, Druid and Rogue. Very versitile. Tank/DPS Healer/DPS DPS/DPS and can stealth past mobs to speed up certain quests/quest lines.
Me and my friend's mains (starting way back when) were/are a rouge and druid and even though it was the first time either of us had played an MMO, we burned through to 60.
So, do the sets for the different specs all look the same? Since there was only one screen of the Priest, but it listed two sets, I can only assume yes.
